Mark Flickert

The "Mark Flickert" site is located to the southwest of the town of Leipzig and to the south of the Leipzig-Grünau development area and the town of Lausen. The terrain is flat. The only noteworthy elevation within a radius of 5 km is the 13 m high wooded slope at the southwestern end of the Kulkwitzer lake (distance approx. 1.5 km). The Mark Flickert is situated at a level of 122 m above mean sea level.

The site is bounded to the north by the town of Lausen. The Florian Geyer residential area lies to the east, to the southeast of this the offshoots of Knautkleeberg and Knauthain. The towns of Albersdorf and Göhrenz form the western border.
